Mythographia is a static reference site. It has no accounts, no comments, and no forms that collect personal information. This page describes the one thing it does measure and how that measurement is limited.

What Is Measured

The site uses Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand which pages people read and how they arrive. It records page views, referrers, approximate location derived from IP address, and basic device and browser information. It does not record names, email addresses, or anything you type.

Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools also report which search queries lead to the site. Those reports are aggregated by the search engines and contain no individual visitor data.

Cookies And European Visitors

Analytics cookies are denied by default for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, using Google Consent Mode. Those visitors are counted through cookieless signals that cannot identify a returning reader. Advertising and personalisation storage is denied everywhere, for every visitor, because the site runs no advertising.

Elsewhere, Google Analytics sets a first-party cookie to distinguish one visit from the next. You can block it with your browser's cookie settings or any content blocker; the site works normally without it.

Where The Data Goes

Measurement data is processed by Google. The site is served by Cloudflare, which handles the request logs any web host keeps. No measurement data is sold, and none is shared with anyone beyond those two providers.

Changes

If measurement changes, this page changes with it. The project's internal rule is that a tool may only be added once its purpose, the data it collects, and where that data is processed are written down here first.
